Anyone have any information or suggestion about this setup? I am replacing the radiator and while there I saw the fan belt (ordered already) is pretty ragged and cracked. While looking the front pulley has a v-belt driving the hydraulic pump for the FEL.

The factory specs call for a chain drive but def not what I have ...

Got the pump model number Cessna 24205-20, which seems to be the correct pump for the B219 ... just the damn belt vs chain drive issue

Is it an issue?
There are quite a few setup where they run hydraulic pumps off of a belt drive, granted it's not the best way to run them.
If you wanted to Upgrade it, you could go serpentine for better bite or cogged belt for a geared belt, neither is easy or cheap.

All of my comments assume that on the end of your engine crank shaft there is a short splined stub.

You have a back yard pump installation. Big clue is the use of a plumbing fitting (street elbow) rather than a hydraulic fitting.

The proper pump installation sees the pump shaft facing the end of the engine crank shaft and coupled together using two chain couplings like this one.

This marked up very poor quality illustration from the parts manual attempts to show the relative arrangement of the drive parts.

Surprising to me is that the important part numbers seem to still be available.

The notes are mine.

The critical part is the sprocket with 21 splines to fit on the end of the crank.

#70 is $46.62 and you need two
#71 is $117.97
#72 is $112.02
#73 is $70.61

If indeed you have the correct pump, then in this correct arrangement it will be running backwards compared to its present configuration.

At the very least this will mean the suction and supply lines need to be reversed on the pump.

If I remember correctly, one or more of those coupling parts/shafts/or splined hub is no longer available.
I think we've been over this before, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, you would also need the pump mount, and the cage & plate that protects it,
to go back to a stock B219 setup, plus (I would guess) new hoses/fittings.
If it works, I'd probably just put a new belt on and go with what you've got.

From a little google research the pump might be Cessna 24205-2C. Check is it has a rotation mark on the body and if it is turning in the correct direction now with the V belt or would be if facing the engine.

I mean it all works as well as I could hope currently. Just that the belt is pretty cracked and dry. Any advice on how to go about finding a replacement belt? I will go out and take a measurement of the length , width , height etc... just not sure how to get the correct angle measurement or to finding a lookup for the dimensions

I'd just take it off & bring it to Napa or someplace similar & have them match it.
Looks like there is plenty of adjustment if you are a little off.
