Hey all, new member here. I bought my B3030HSDC a year ago. This summer I got a smoking deal on a B2782 blower setup. It’s got hydraulic chute rotation, electric deflector and came with PTO kit and quick attach subframe. I paid $1,800 and it’s hardly used. My issue is this past Saturday I tried putting on the PTO kit and it doesn’t seem to be the correct one for my tractor. I can’t find a part number anywhere on it. I’m attaching some pics. Can anyone help?

What are parts are you calling PTO kit?... Just trying to better understand what help is needed. Are you certain the subframe (black assembly in second pictures is the one for your tractor? Normally this hangs off the front of the tractor and the back of it is lifted and held in place by a pin through bracket that is bolted to the tractor.

Perhaps if one could see the details of the subframe parts you have on hand could provide better guidance.

Kubota has some reasonable parts illustrations that might help your cause. Illustrated assemblies/parts

In the first pic you can see the quick attach subframe and the larger subframe which I assume is the pto kit? The larger subframe doesn’t have any part numbers on it. But yeah it doesn’t seem like it’s right for my tractor. I’m hoping the quick attach subframe that mates to the blower is correct though so I don’t have to buy both.

Was hoping for better pictures that could be expanded to see the detail of what you have and to help give some guidance.

The PTO kit is usually just the driveshaft(s).

Your subframe is disassembled in the photos, likely to fit on the pallet better. The part that goes into the blower, which I call a "duckbill" given the way it looks, should be attached to the subframe and never to be removed.

If the subframe works but the driveshafts don't, correct lengths can be purchased.

The subframe does not work. That’s what I’m saying. It has no way of bolting up to my tractor. The “duckbill” attaches to the large subframe with two large pins. I thought that was the “quick attach” that is referred to. The duckbill says B2761 on it. The large subframe has no numbers on it. I thought they were two separate parts. Are you saying that both pieces are one unit? Bought as one piece? The pto kit is just the long driveshaft in the first picture? I’m gonna call Kubota tomorrow and hopefully sort this out.

Here's what the frame looks like for my B3200 and the same blower that you have. As mentioned by someone else, it hooks over the tractor bracket and clamps onto it, and then there's a pin underneath the tractor that holds it up. If you really only paid $1800 for your, you stole it, and you have lots of money left to buy the correct subframe!

I’m thinking you have exactly what I need. Mine looks nothing like that. What’s the number on that subframe/quick hitch? And yes I got a hell of a deal on this blower :giggle:

Good deal on the blower, screwed on the rest. I'd say the seller knew it too.

No it’s 100% my fault. He didn’t say it would fit my tractor. I did some research before I pulled the trigger and apparently I was wrong. I just talked to sales at local Kubota dealer and he said B3030 with cab has its own unique driveline/pto kit. I need B2791 quick hitch and B2793 driveline kit. About $2,000 and he can’t even get the quick hitch till mid January. The driveline kit is available now. Guess I gotta start looking for a used one somewhere.

I'd say you made out, even if you have to buy the quick attached sled and driveline.

I have a B3000 (pretty much the same tractor) and the B2782 with sled was $6,000 !!!!!!

So as blperk said, you will still have found a bargain. Maybe you'll be able to sell the incorrect sled?

Hey all, just an update. I sold the blower and setup yesterday and made a very nice profit. Now I gotta shop for another one with the correct subframe this time. Was also thinking of maybe doing a plow or snow pusher instead. Thoughts? I would want a 7’ or 8’ plow. My driveway is 500ft and a 5 footer is too dinky in my opinion. How big of a snow pusher could I use?
