B3030 hst high range problem

I just bought a b3030 hst it has couple of issues that the seller failed to inform me of the major one is scaring me. I have not used the tractor yet it starts great and seems to work fine in low and medium range but when I put it in high range it made a grinding noise like it was going to self distruct. The bell housing was replaced before I got it.....I have no idea why but that may be a clue to someone out there. Can anyone help me??

get under and look at the linkage(s) - see if anything is bent. Sounds like it is NOT in the gear all the way.
