It has been a while since I have bought filters for my B2650, so went to Kubota dealer and bought some for fluid change. As expected, with inflation, the price of the fluids and filters have increased, 10 - 20%. But one HST filter HH660-36060-620 increased 232%, plus all the other products were discounted but this one was not. I thought maybe it was a mistake but I checked Ebay and Amazon and that filter was even more expensive on those sites. Any idea why that particular filter's price increased so much?
Manual says to tighten filters by hand until they touch then another half turn. Do you only hand tighten or use like a strap wrench? It's been a while since I have changed filters so can't recall how I did it, no leaks so I must have done it right, lol.

No idea on why the two-fold increase in price.

Hand tighten only and do as manual states. Half turn after gasket contact. That filter is a bit weird...meaning it does seem to bottom out really quickly.

If you are old or your hands are weak, then mark the filter at 12 o'clock with a marking pen once the gasket contacts the metal, and using a strap wrench tighten till the mark is at the 6 o'clock position.
