B2650 Cab Mounts look old

Have a 4 month old B2650 and the cab mounts look like they are 10+ years old. Rubber is all cracked. Hate to see them 10 years from now. Wondering if any one else has run into this?

I think I would have a problem with that. I checked my new L4060 cab mounts, and there is no cracking. Mine are of a different design, having the rubber covered top and bottom with a convex metal plate.

I would investigate further.

Your rubber bushings look painted, whereas rjcorazza's are not.

Is the rubber mount cracking, or is just the paint cracked?

It is just the paint on the rubber cracking / peeling. The bushing is fine.

I have to agree, pick that paint off and you will see there are no issues.

Yep its paint on the mounts. Spoke with one of the service techs. at the dealer and he said Kubota paints everything after assembly. I have found other rubber bushings and O-rings that look the same since talking with him.

We often have new folks here with a question, get suggestions, then we never hear back how things worked out.

While it seems odd to me to paint the bushings, glad all is fine, and best wishes with your new tractor!!

Either it's paint or they made it from the same rubber they make BX tie rod boots out of. That crap has a taillight warranty. As soon as you leave the dealer and they can't see your taillights the warranty is over.

I just came in from mowing with mine and I checked the mounts while I was out there. I can see what you mean because they sure look cracked when you first look at them. I chipped the paint off in a few places and the rubber mount does look ok though.
