I have had this tractor for many years and never paid attention to the bi turn. It developed a leak at the lever on the box and when I took it apart i found abroken ball bearing. Tryinh to understand how it works and set it up. Can not get the lever in the cab to move and can't see how it is hooked up. The linkage to the trans is disconnected and I still can't move the lever. Tried in neutral with clutch etc but seems to not want to move. I don't know if I have been using this or not. Seemed to turn very sharp. Any help would be appreciated

Kind of difficult to explain it's operation without the WSM in front of you with pictures.

Get the WSM and it should Explain the setup and operation.

I have a B1750HST with Bi-Speed Turn. It is a two speed transmission for the front axle that overdrives the front axle when steering angle reached a specified position. This prevents sliding or pushing of the front tires, which must travel around a wider radius than the rear tires, resulting in a tighter turning radius and reducing turf damage. The system can be turned on or off by the small lever on top of the hump beneath your legs on the right side. Note: It should always be turned off when a FEL is installed. Of course, the FWA should always be turned off when operating on hard surfaces.

As Wolfman has said, you will probably need the WSM to diagnose your problem.

I understand the concept. Have print outs but some pictures not very clear. How does the engage lever work? Does not seem to move even when lower linkage disconnected.

It's different on the 2150 than the 1750 but when disconnected it should move freely unless corrosion locked due to non use. Operation should be obvious. If not, refer to your operator's manual.
