Hi I'm new to this furum and I find it very helpful with all the knowledge that's so freely given and I've learned alot. Recently purchased a B2100 and it's been leaking hydraulic fluid from the right rear seal. In reading my WSM it's looking like I'll need to remove the right rear brake assembly in order to replace the seal. Was just wondering if anyone could respond on how difficult this would be having to remove the entire axle shaft and bearings which are like pressed on?

Kubota's very rarely presses anything on, 99.9% of every part of the tractor can be take apart with normal tools. And parts can be removed and reassembled and reused without damage.

An axle seal job will take the average Joe mechanic a fairly easy afternoon to do, and we are always here to help out if you run into something that you need help with.

Well thanks very much for that information Wolfman it's appreciated. I've changed plenty of seals on cars and garden sized tractors in the past although the B2100 is my first real tractor and I just wasn't sure. Once again, thanks Wolfman!

I cleaned it real good with power washer and dish soap to disolve any oil then I coated the leaky gasket with some jb wels. That was two years ago.
