B1750 throttle lever replacement

Hello. Does anyone know how to replace the throttle lever on a b1750?

My lever is sheared off. I have the dash removed but I cannot figure out how the remainder of the arm is removed from the pivot arm

The attached photo shows a pin that looks like it needs removal before the rod can be pulled out

Any opinion?

Removing the pin might help, but it doesn't go through the lever itself. After you install the new lever be sure to lube all the moving parts. There's a reason that lever broke. My lever sheared at the hole just above where the lever enters that fulcrum lever, I was asking it to do to much work. I've attached a pdf of how the parts go together.

Yeah mine sheared way above that pin. I need to replace the lever but first I have to remove the bottom half of the lever from the pivot.

The issue is getting the split pin out without rolling it over

There is a second roll pin up higher that need to be removed to pull the rod out the top.

That upper roll pin was not there surprisingly. Not sure why. I haven’t had time to look at it since my original post but I’m hoping that with a little effort and lots of penetrating fluid I can get the lower pin to budge without rolling it over
