I’m looking at a used Kubota Bx200. Not sure if it’s 6200 7200 or 8200 as badges were removed when painted. It was oil sprayed then stored in garage for last 3-5 years. Comes with loader, front snowblower and brush hog.

Im going for a better look this week but is there anyway to tell from the pictures what model it is or do I have to find the frame sticker?

It sure looks like my old B8200. Not certain though. What I do know is that that series and vintage tractors are beasts!

I was going to say B8200, but Rjcorazza already did! I agree because of the venting on the sides of the hood, and the cover over the pitman arm.

Looks like a B8200D (gear shift) to me as well. Looks like it's in decent shape to, aesthetically anyway.
On the 'trans tunnel', near where your right foot would be, there should be a serial, and model number stamped in the steel. It'll probably be hard to see at first.

Thanks for the replies. I could tell by the sides/body style that it was the 200 series but couldn’t tell if it was the 62 72 or 82. It was stored after the owner had an accident in the garage. He changed all oils and even under sprayed before storing. Have a fair price worked out so I’m going to look it over this week and hopefully be able to find the sticker to really tell if it’s the 8200.

In the last pic you posted above, you can see the riveted on info plate on the trans tunnel, located down where your left ankle would be. The serial number will be on the opposite side, and stamped (not riveted) into the tunnel. Should be easy to identify.

I was looking for this info not too long ago, and got some help from the guys on here....

sure looks close to a b7200 to me...
Could be. They're pretty much identical except for dimensions. But the way the seat sits farther down in the OP's pics vs. the pics you posted, makes me lean towards 8200

Thanks again for the help. Stopped by today after work to see it. It is the Kabota B 8200 D. He has owned it for 20 years, had a bad accident three years ago so at that time he had it painted at a local garage, under sprayed and stored inside. I put a deposit on it so will have to dig it out once the snow is gone. Comes with the front snowblower, loader, brush hog and pallet forks. Should be a good new toy for making food plots and loading the sawmill

Nice, you got all the goodies with it too!
I thought the orange paint all over the trans and axle looked odd. It should be a bluish/gray color.

Post up more pics when you get it out of the garage. I had nothing but good times on my b8200, it was/is a real workhorse for its size, it always impressed.

So I got it home today, with the front snowblower that’s run off the rear PTO I couldn’t get it up the ramps on my trailer so I waited for a nice day and drove it the 9 km home.

I’ve never seen a front mount run of a PTO like this before. Blew a little snow on the driveway and seems to work great.

Hasn’t been run in five years but with a new battery it fired up first touch of the key without using the glow plugs. I’ll have to go back when more snow is gone to pick up the front end loader and brush hog but overall I think I’ll be happy with it

I haven't ever seen a rear pto redirect to the front like that. Neat!
