I won't bid against you Chevelle fans if you don't run me up on that Hurst Olds.
I had to look that one up.

With the 455, that's a special car......looks great too.

Is there a finder's fee in my future? >>>>LOL
Gosh, Tom - - looks like they're all No Reserve.....

Thanks so much for the link.

I'm not buying anything, but I might have to see if I can find it live on TV.

The market on some of the early vehicles has changed over recent years.

Not a lot of guys around want to tangle with a Pre-WWII car anymore......but great early cars still demand a great price. Certainly, looks like some of those in the lineup fit the bill.

Seems the "Muscle Car" era cars have been strong. That's my "Baby Boomer" era.

I had a 68 442 W-30 with the 400 CI engine. GM limited the mid size cars to 400 CI so the Hurst Company bought the cars incomplete and added the 455. I did some reading and found that the Hurst Olds didn't use the wilder cam on cars with an air conditioner, so the one at the sale has a bit less horsepower and less exhaust rumble.

Oh, that's cool. Wondered how it got a Hurst badge.....

I had some pictures from years ago at the museum (Post #9 of this thread).

Both a GTO and a Buick GSX(?) had 455's (I think they both did?). The Buick was a very limited production #'s as I recall. Was probably close to 10 years ago now.

My own fault I didn't get a picture  ......one of my colleagues was driving his 1963 Buick LeSabre for this morning's meeting.

2-door hardtop. Kind of a "champagne" color. Very nice original daily driver car he doesn't use much.

Just getting it out to stretch it's legs last few days.

Nice thing to see at 0745..... ;)

Was walking by this the other day and just thought it looked cool. Been there quite a while, just caught my eye that day.

1931Cadillac. It’s a V-16. Don’t see those everyday.

In our Made in New York Exhibit we have an Emblem motorcycle. It’s a 4-seater and a family went nearly cross-country with it if I remember correctly.
