Was the filter changed recently?

I do not know that filter - but IF there is an "O" ring in the kit - that usually cause the air to be sucked in.

By fuel filter, are you talking about the spin on filter or the water separator with the glass bowl? You probably have a clogged line in the system.

You should probably change the filter (spin on) if you haven’t already done that. If the filter is new, you have to start looking for an obstruction in the lines as well as testing the lift pump.

Disconnect the line at the tank and see if you have flow out and the tank outlet isn’t clogged with algae or debris. If that’s good, go to the output line on the spin on filter and disconnect it and make sure it’s clear. Make sure the fuel lines aren’t cracked. They may be allowing the system to suck air.

if the lines are all clear, disconnect the input line to the water separator and turn on the key and see if the lift pump is pushing fuel through. If not, you probably have a bad lift pump.
