Any issue with adding a D-ring shackle to the rear frame where a hitch would go?

Any issue with adding a D-ring shackle to the rear of the tractor where some would put a ball or a hitch receiver? I've seen people mount a shackle/clevis back there with a 90-degree bend. Any concern if you mounted the D-ring without a bend in it?

Nope. I do that to attach a choker cable for skidding logs and brush.

I have a draw bar under the tractor and the shackle attached to the draw bar. Much better support by the way it's attached to the tractor.
