OK so Im surfing youtube which is getting to be a PIA. But Judge Dredd movie popped up, yeah why not so I click on the link and lo and behold, I cant watch it. Why you might as, well it is age restricted. Now if I was looking for how to grow dope no problem, or bondage again no problem explosives and the list goes on with no age restriction.
But in order for my to say I am of age, they want a photo, federal ID, drivers license, or a credit card. Yeah like I am going to send any thing like that to some jack wagon in the middle of bumfuk no where, just to watch a movie on line,,,
OK Im done whining for now untill I find out what citi bank is going to do about charges on my card I didnt make! Must be the heat and humidly getting to me already

yeesh, I watched Judge Dredd maybe 3 weeks ago, on TV, no 'computer' asked me for my age or money ! I'm with Bell Canada, sadly.

Just put the chip in your arm and you can avoid all this.

I was able to do it by only photographing to DOB on the drivers license, but thats been a while ago so maybe they changed it by now.

Credit card photo is crazy though

Most likely you could use a VPN to change your location to somewhere without age verification requirements and watch whatever you want if you don’t care to be carded by YouTube and every other site containing something your state legislators have decided should be kept from minors.

It isn’t much different than being carded to buy tickets to a R rated movie or buy alcohol or cigarettes, but somehow it feels more invasive to me.

HR 8250, the Parents (Don't) Decide Act, brings age verification to an operating system level. I will no longer us a computer when this becomes law.
