Looking at trading my B2650 cab for a L3940 cab L3940 has just under 400 hours looks to be in nice shape. It is 2010 model. Im asking about whether this would be a significant upgrade in loader power and in PTO over my 2650. I know the specs say probably around 30-35% is this realistic? i BOUGHT TO SMALL FOR THE NEW PROPERTY SO IM SHOPPING.

I don't have one but the L3940 is close to the current L4060 which is one heck of a tractor!

You'll be looking at about a fifty percent increase in PTO power. You should see a corresponding increase in loader lift capacity. You'd need specs for the specific loaders to compare. The loader isn't really part of the tractor, it's an accessory. The same loader may be used on a variety of tractors. The hydraulic system pressure of the tractor will also affect loader capabilities. My tractor (L2501) uses the same loader as the L3901 but it has more lifting power on the L3901 due to the increase in hydraulic pressure.
