Hey everyone, Mr. K here -

For approximately the last month OTT has been operating without any ads at all as we migrate to a new ad partner (hurray!). While it would be awesome to continue this ad-free experience, we do have to reenable ads in order to make sure the cost to operate the site is accounted for (boooo!). Part of OTT's founding principles is to provide a dedicated and free place on the internet, just for Kubota owners and enthusiasts. As intrusive as ads are, they do help keep OTT free and open to all in accordance with that original mission.

Something new we are going to try is providing a 100% ad-free experience for any paid site supporter (become one here if not already). If you are a Premium, Lifetime or Vendor member, you will continue to not see any ads for the time being as we evaluate if this is viable for the long-term (hopefully). In fact, you may have been puzzled up to this point because you don't see any ads at all. If you are not a paid member, or don't want to be, that's fine - starting today you will see ads integrated back into your OTT viewing experience.

We are still fiddling with some of the ad placements and sizes and how they work so hang in there in the coming days and weeks as things get sorted out. As always, thank you all for choosing to spend time here on OTT and for helping one another out. Appreciated!

Putting up with ads is one thing, having those ad banners block content is straight up BS!

Well I guess you don't know that the site owner doesn't design the ads or set up or control how the ads are displayed!
So your comment is down right rude.

The site owner has no control over how the ads are being displayed? I did not know that.

Normally I do not see any ads but for some strange reason a few days ago I got ads as well. They were quite a few as popups (?) and practically covering over 70% of the displayed content, not just displayed at the side. I understand that free web sites require financing and ads are one way paying for the site.

Maybe the sheer amount was only a temporary software glitch but I found that really annoying having to click away all those ads all the time and on every page you changed.

To be very honest, if I had to do all that closing ads clicking all the time I would probably not be on OrangeTractorTalks any longer.

It was not the ads being displayed but the huge amount (and having to close each one individually) was simply too much.

It was a comment on the ads, not the owner or anyone in particular. Your comment was rude.
