I have a B7100 HST-D 4wd, R1 tires. I need more weoght pn the front end.

I have 2 suitcase weights but only account for anout 100lbs.

I have 2- 4"x8"x36" concrete lintels (in construction are what support structure over a door or window in a cmu wall). They weigh about 60lbs each.

I was windering of anybody had some iseas hpw to mount them on my front end in addition to the suitcase weights? I can drill the lintels if necessary

I dont have a welder so i was trying to configure a bolt on system of some sort.

Ideas?

Assuming that the length would not hit the steering, could you ratchet strap (cheap 4 pack at TSC or Wally World) through the front member - one of these packs of straps would be enough to hold it along the front. Otherwise you will need to bolt a piece of angle to lay the lintel in. I would think that lintel would weigh a little more than that......:) If that is typical 3000 lbs mix, it should weigh in closer to 100 lbs each.
In the formation I describe - you would have a long front end bumper.....the suit case weights would have to be on top of this. This is a loooowww budget solution!;)

Ive thought about ratchet straps before too. Only concern is if they would rip and tear.

Yes the lintels are typical 3000lb concrete lentils with reinforcement inside. I considered drilling them tjen inserting bolts to match the bolt holes on tje front weight mounting plate. The concrete lintels would act like a bumper of sorts. I would have to check on steering clearances. Didnt think about that
