I recently purchased a M8200DT that has an aftermarket Great Bend 440 FEL. The loader is currently plumbed to the rear remotes for lift and tilt. I would like to clean up the install and free up the rear remotes and install a joystick at the same time. I'm looking for ideas on how to use a hydraulic block tied into the pump or something similar to the way the factory Kubota loaders are plumbed.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The part that was used for the supply (60) might or might not be available.
PN 75567-68110
If not available, you could have one made, it's just a simple block.
You will need 2 of these adapters too:
PN 75567-68152
The rear elbow is still available:
PN 75595-64142

The block replaces part 60 on here, it would give you supply(power) and return (power beyond)

This is where the tank line would connect.

I would suggest investigating the connections to block 60 in Wolfmans post. If the ends are standard fittings you could simple replace 60 with hose connections to pipes 30 and 70.

Or possibly connect the valve directly to pump (probably a common BSPP banjo) and fitting 10 at rear and eliminate both pipes.

The ends of the lines are not standard, and the block is dual purpose, it's also used as a support for both ends of the pipes.

If you look at the picture of the pump connection, it's not a simple banjo fitting, its a bolted O-ring fitting that needs support.
If not supported it will crack at the pipe connection to the block.

As I said - inspect the connections to determine exactly what they are and how things are mounted.

I suspect the pump connection is just a banjo with crush washer - that seems to be Kubota's preferred connection for pipes. The other 3 ends look like tube nuts. Its easy enough to support the ends of the pipe with something other than the block. In fact it looks like the rear pipe is probably clamped at the "rubber" giving you a nice solid point for supporting both hoses with a couple zip ties.

Edit - looked closer at the parts diagram and pump appears to be 4 bolt flange - just a different style of port adapter.

That said if I were doing it I would probably eliminate the pipes altogether and just run hoses. Push comes to shove you can cut the port ends off the pipes, flare the pipe stub, and use them as port adapters. If you can't flare use flare-less tube adapters. Inexpensive. tidy, and easy to do.

Thanks for the detailed reply. That short section was my best guess on tapping into the supply. I was really struggling with where to return to tank so that was huge help. I will digest all of this and check on locating the part number you suggested for the block.

Cheers.

That sounds like a heck of a lot of work considering the proper parts are only going to run $60.

Quick update. I was able to get all of these parts. I was surprised to see that all of the hydraulic fittings were made in China. I've been looking for a 2 spool joystick valve or possibly one that would integrate a 3rd function for a grapple. I would prefer to have a button to operate the grapple.

The usual setup is a 2 soool joystick and an after market 3rd function solenoid valve mounted on or near the loader post. Buttons for third function are part of a replacement knob on the joystick.

Multiple sources for both valves and you are looking at close to a thousand dollars by the time everything is installed.
