There is a used 60" Kubota rear 3 point snow blower for sale a was wondering if I would work OK on a L6060HSTC which is 69" wide. I realize it wont clear the tire path, but it priced right and Im not sure I want to spend $4000 on a new one.
Thanks

I have a flail mower on the rear of my 3560 and use a rear blade that do not cover the tracks. Both do the job once you figure out how to best use them. Both work in offset mode.

Can you get or make drift cutter extensions for that blower? I have them on front blower on another tractor and they are perfect for clearing a path. I think you will be able to make it work.

Should work OK.

Plenty of power and hydrostat transmission provides versatility.

The tractor has already driven over the snow that is to be cleared, what difference does it make if the blower is as wide as the tread?

I've NEVER been able to get the connection.

Clear a path, next pass, overlaps the cleared swath just a bit. the tractor tires go where the must go.

It's GOOD!

I have a 60 inch rear blower, handi size, but can still be bulky around buildings etc.

You can probably find a used 72-84 inch unit cheaper than the smaller used 60 inch units. Smaller seems to get more expensive for some reason. I'd go wider than the tires.

One reason for 'wider than track' ...
The snow you drive over is compacted and harder to scoop and blow compared to virgin snow. Not a huge deal unless the water content and temperature are just right...THEN it can be a friggin problem.
Fabbing up a couple 'collector wings' and mounting them would be easy enough.
Heck, try it without, then , if required make/install the wings.
