3rd Function Knob

I am looking at adding a 3rd Function when I buy in the next couple of days. I was looking at the W.R. Long version. Does anyone know if the buttons are fingertip or thumb control. I can't tell by pictures that I have seen. If anyone has one, please post a picture.

Depends how you grip it but thumb or palm on the hand could work. Is this the one?

You can also, just ask them... They are real nice, I lost a pin and work 20 minutes from them, was able to pick one up at the factory in Tarboro.

I am unable to take a pic of mine at this time but I use my right index finger to open/close the grapple claw. The one I have is similar to a gear shift knob. The side of the knob with the switch on it faces to the front. When in use, my thumb is usually resting on top of the knob while my fingers wrap around the knob. I hope this makes sense and helps answer your question.

Your comparing 2 different valves.

The VK12 &V20 are a true third function valves, and will have the rocker switch which controls the operation of the third function.

The VKS18 & VKS30 are a diverter valves, they will have the single push button switch, that will have to be held down while you move the joystick in the curl or roll positions for the third function to work.
