3rd Function Hydraulic Valve Kit

Does anyone know if Kubota makes a 3rd function hydraulic valve kit, so that a grapple can be added to an L4060?

I can only find one sold by Everything Attachments online.

I'm pretty sure they do, but the best answer to your question will come from the dealer.

There is a Kubota 3rd function kit for an L4240 and it is part number L2225 and cost $893.

I'm not certain Kubota made the kit on my B26, but the dealer installed it and I bought a Kubota 4 in 1 bucket, so I would think there is a factory kit available also.

They make one for my L6060. I'll see if I can find the part number on my paperwork when I get off work tomorrow. That price sounds about right.

If you happen to see what the kit would run for a L2501, let me know. I'm looking at getting a grapple as well. Bought a new Stihl saw yesterday, and made a big pile o cedar..

After looking at all of the options I could find on the internet for my 3901, I decided on the one from Idaho Implements. The kit has arrived, but I have not yet installed it; perhaps this week.

Received the kit from Idaho Implements. Ended up being $725 after shipping. This kit would be the same on the 2501 with the LA525. I have the kit installed, but as I do not have a grapple yet, I will have to report back later on its use.

Borrowed my neighbor's grapple, and the 3rd function valve works great. I did have a couple of hydraulic leaks, due to me not tightening the fitting sufficiently. I am always worried that I am going to strip the nut, or cause some other issue, but tightening the two joints by 1/16 of a turn stopped the leak. The grapple works great - push the upper button and the grapple opens, and the bottom button closes the grapple.

Was looking at this one also. I read the instructions on the site and they had said something about cutting a line. Did you have to do that or was it all just hydraulic fittings?

Their instructions are somewhat dated; that was referring to cutting a line to tap into the tank return, which I did not have to do. I have both a loader and backhoe, so my install was to remove the PB connection that went to the backhoe and put it on the new 3rd valve "T" fitting port. The a new supplied hose went from the loader PB port to the 3rd valve "P" fitting port. The other two ports are where the lines (supplied) go forward to the disconnects. No cutting anywhere.

Other than the slightly unclear directions, this is a great kit.
