I have an older B2710. It had the backhoe attached when I purchased it and only recently removed it to hookup brush hog. The lever is sloppy and moves freely no matter what I do with the pressure control nob. I cannot get the 3ph to raise or lower. Everything else works just fine.
Any suggestions on what to look at?

Check the linkage under the fender to see if something has become disconnected. Also, look for any broken linkages or parts.

Did you loop the hydraulics back when you disconnected the BH?

If the lever is still floppy, check the lever linkage make sure the nuts and washers in yellow are tight.
Make sure the notch is engaged with the piun, Blue.

I don't know what kind of a backhoe was on the OP’s B2710, but when I bought my B2910, which is the same tractor with slightly different engine HP, the only Kubota option was a three-point hitch backhoe that had a pump driven by the PTO.
