I have a L2850 DT that will not lift a load on the three point. It went from working fine one day to not at all the next to working intermittently once. I have pressure for my PS, have pressure for auxiliary items i.e. log splitter, my 3 point will lift with no load on it slower than usual. It will also hold a load with no drift down once up (if you lift load by hand). I also noticed at higher RPMS it slowly lift a load. I have replaced the filter, taken apart the pressure releif valve on top of piston under seat cleaned and replaced adjust to provide more pressure, taken the the feedback lever off and manipulated it by hand. Really not sure what else to look at any ideas?

What and how do you mean you have pressure for auxiliary Items?
Do you have another valve in the system?

I have a set of hoses that run out to the rear of the tractor to run 3 point implements such as a log splitter or other implements requiring hydraulics. I hooked up my log splitter and ran a few large logs through it to confirm the pump was indeed making proper pressure. I have concluded my pump and relief valve off the pump must be working properly due to I have power steering and good pressure off the pump. The problem must lie between the 3 point and the pump.

Sticking relief valve?
I tore the relief valve near the seat apart cleaned it didn't see any broken o rings, dirt or damage, this was my thought as well but there were no signs of damage to the naked eye I may replace it regardless just to rule it out but nothing seemed out of order.

Possible leaking rockshaft piston seal
If it was the rockshaft would i see other symptoms? When I lift the 3point by hand with the control lever pulled to the upper position the 3 point does not drift back down its stays in place even with a load applied. Would this still happen if the seal was leaking by?

First, the power steering is powered by a different section of the pump, so it working, would not mean you necessarily have the other part of the pump working.

Need to know, with pictures, where the hoses originate from.

Something doesn't sound right.

Have you turned the drop speed control on the three point?

Any chance you left a rear remote in detent after working with the log splitter. Seems like the rear remotes are suspect since they are logically before the 3pt and last used.

Or, if you just have a loop out back to power the splitter, you my have a bad connection in the QDs.
