I bought this unit with 200 hours on it but it was jump started backwards so it cranks but wont start. No fuel pump noise and its blows a 15 amp fuse under seat instantly. I was told maybe a fuel pump shutoff solenoid. I ordered one but can't find where it goes. Help please

generally if a fuse is failing there is "usually" a short circuit somewhere (short to ground). Look at the wiring harness VERY well for evidence of burnt areas. I wouldn't be buying parts until you find out what exactly is wrong as Kubota parts aren't known to be inexpensive, and on this series of mower, those little parts can add up quickly.

The fuel shut-off solenoid is mounted on the carburetor, see the attachment.
Unplug the voltage regulator and see if the fuse still blows.
