1970s L260 injection pump oil change

Hi guys, I have an l260P with an injection pump that has a dipstick for the governor and for the pump. I’m not sure how to drain the oil out. Hopefully somebody’s familiar with this relic lol

Turn upside down and let drain? Is the bolt under the throttle level a drain plug? Do you have a suction gun? Otherwise maybe something like this from Amazon?

Thanks! Yep, that drained the governor. know what to do about that injection pump?

I guess I assumed that they share the same oil, as there is no seal between the 2 parts.
Roll the tractor over to drain?

There are two big plugs on the bottom with a half inch square inverted, I’m guessing for a half inch breaker bar. I’m afraid to crack one of those because it looks like it’s full of shims and springs and stuff

Yea I wouldn't mess with those.
And if I understand this pump right those are in a fuel area not an oil area.

I was able to get the oil to drop out of the governor side on the left, I just gave up and sucked the fluid out of the injector to refill it. Topped them both off with straight 30 weight oil. Seems to be running good. Thank you gentlemen for your input

If you don’t know how to drain and replace oil, suck it out somehow and replace that way.

Very simple and clever solution that I might not have thought of If it were me.
