Size or brand?

5' er will fit that machine well - brand, well I would check craigslist to see what is out there, you can find a used one for 1/2 the price of a new one - just make sure everything is sound on it!;)

2601 can do a 4' or 5' with no problem!

while all of us like Kubota.... i went with the Titan in kubota orange for around $600... does an awesome job.

& it looks like this behind a 2601 & on its own..

if you are just mowing high grass and not any saplings, one of the light duty brands at under $1,000 with a simple shear pin will do fine. If not, go for a Bush Hog, Land Pride or Woods heavier duty with a slip clutch at the $1,000 + range. We run a Land Pride 1860 and it is a stout unit. We find the used ones for sale around here are almost always flogged out junk, or the cheaper brands

If you plan to leave it sitting out in the weather might look at Modern ag implements. They're galvanized so no worry about rust and they are very well built.

I have a B2650 and bought a 4' bush hog with a slip clutch. I think I could easily have run a 5'.

I have a 26 hp engine.
