There is a difference between the 2wd and 4wd shafts, take a look at the transmission parts diagram. I have a gray model that came with an attached tiller, not 3pt, and has an 18 spline output to match the tiller. Us models had 3pt attachments and a 10 spline output.

wish I had found you a few months ago, I just spent a fortune completely rebuilding the transmission. Unfortunately I don’t think the pto shaft will work in a 4wd unit, but out of curiosity, what do you want for the reverser and shaft?

Is it a 4wd tractor? Would you be willing to part with the pro shaft as well? Mine is an 18 spline.

Any idea why the B6000 has a front PTO output but the B6000E doesn't? Or why the B6000 has a shifter on the PTO and an extra gear, but the B6000E doesn't? What is the gear for?

Interesting, why would some of the bearings have to be pulled off then I wonder? They won’t slide back on either, they will need to be forced back on. Makes sense they should be tolerance fit since some also had retaining clips. Could this be because it’s a grey model? Or damage caused by...

Sorry to jump in on this. Where in Canada are you finding parts for your grey market B6000? I'm not too far from Ottawa and the Kubota dealer had nothing. Do you have a website for Canada or Europe/Asia?

The reverse shaft does appear to be slightly bent. Could it come like this or did a 1" steel shaft bend without cracking the aluminum case? Also, any opinions on liquid gasket?

Wondering what people are using for engine oil. I’ve found 10w30 diesel and 15w40 diesel. Manual lists 30w, 20w, 10w (or 10w30) depending on temperature.

What are the chances that the reverse shaft is bent? It seems wonky when rotated but it’s a 1” shaft. Next question is would you buy gaskets for reassembly, or use liquid gasket?
