I have actually taken the cap off the cab and insulated the underside with reflectix and R19 insulation was told this would help a good bit… my air works pretty well but with these temps we been getting in central Alabama lately it just wasn’t doing what it should …still cool enough to operate...

Did you replace the cap seal around the top?

That’s got to be a significant improvement as far as heat getting to the vent tubes!

How hard is it to pull the roof are all the bolts on outside to get the cap off, or do I have to remove the headliner?

Can you actually buy a engine cooling fan blade that will pull more air, have you seen this modification?

So you just laid it in there on top of the air ducts and 3m the top of the insulation before you put the top back on?

Yea I just about have to clean those coils every 5 hours I can really tell the difference when the screen is starting to stop up

Man I would love to see a pic of how you mounted that fan ,do you feel like that made the biggest improvement to keeping your air cold.. I’m fixing to try something on my mx6000

With this heat we are having my ac doesn’t blow quit as cool as I think it should, with that said what kind of modifications have you made that improved your cab staying cooler.. thanks
