Bleeding top and tilt on L2501 with L8372 Top and Tilt

Whaaaah, my top and tilt cylinders are sagging... says the noob (that would be me). Turns out to be more complicated and nuanced than initially thought. It usually is. Cycling the top and tilt pistons like a mad person has helped a lot. The sponginess is gone. But... I still get the leak...

Bleeding top and tilt on L2501 with L8372 Top and Tilt

Thank you for this link! It looks like a simple and logical way to test, with some fixes as well.

Bleeding top and tilt on L2501 with L8372 Top and Tilt

I will look into this. I don't have any documentation on the top and tilt, and there is nothing on Kubota's website. I may call them, but not sure how useful that will be. I also put in a call to the local dealer and am waiting to hear back. Are these pilot valves something I can swap in...

Bleeding top and tilt on L2501 with L8372 Top and Tilt

A bunch of cycling the cylinders has helped with the air and sponginess. My prior hydraulic experience is limited to brakes and clutches. Will keep at it. I'm still getting a lot of leak down.

Bleeding top and tilt on L2501 with L8372 Top and Tilt

Is there a way to bleed the top and tilt cylinders? I have a L2501 with the L8372 Top and Tilt and 3 spool control valve. Both the top and tilt cylinders are very springy and mushy and they both leak down quite a bit. No luck finding any info on Kubota's site or otherwise. Any info would be...

L2501 and hydraulic breaker attachment experience?

L2501 and hydraulic breaker attachment experience?

Yes, I missed that, thanks for the info. I was looking at the flow rate of the valves. Definitely not going to work with a breaker if the pump is only 5 GPM. Time to look for a plan B. Maybe a jackhammer and generator... or a rental.

L2501 and hydraulic breaker attachment experience?

I'm looking to break up a bunch of big rocks on my property and was wondering if anyone has experience with putting a hydraulic breaker on the skid steer attachment on the loader of a L2501 tractor. I have the 3rd function on the loader and it looks to have about ~15 GPM flow. Some of the...

    Buying Advice - B26 or BX25?

What about a B2650 with BH77 backhoe? Does anyone know how that compares to the B26? Can you run a mid-mounted mower with the backhoe subframe?

    Buying Advice - B26 or BX25?

Thanks for the info. Yes, I would look for a used tractor. I do know that everything is in pretty short supply at the moment, so I'll likely be looking for a while.

    Buying Advice - B26 or BX25?

Yes, I think the B26 is the loader/backhoe version. Seems like a slightly bigger version of the BX25 with the backhoe.

    Buying Advice - B26 or BX25?

I have 10 reasonably flat acres that i am about to start developing. I plan to do a lot of trenching for irrigation, power, and water lines. The wife is planning an orchard on about an acre of the land that will need trees planted and irrigation. I'm putting up a garage / workshop about 800'...
