Electrical Mystery; seeking ideas to account for a sudden stop in all electrical amperage flow on L39

Barring a burnt or broken wire or something like that, I've seen battery terminals corrode just enough to kill all the power. Seems weird after just starting, but it happens.

    wet brake replacements

Like my L35, yours seems fairly straight forward on the adjustments, like part 030. Have you a WSM that gives the specified amount of free play? My linkages were so badly rusted, the hinge points were very stiff and it appeared that the brakes didn't work.

    2023 L3302 no crank

Interesting. The fuse gets hot but doesn't blow? It kinda makes me think that the starter solenoid or starter has an issue. See @GreensvilleJay 's note for a quick test/jump of the starter. Do you know how to do that?

    L series side panels

Great thread! @Russell King I've used that idea many times - Neil M has put a lot of effort into their computer systems.

    Polish/Wax

I've heard of 303 but haven't used it yet. There's a youtube channel about car care and the fellow there has recommended it. He also give some ideas about alternatives and homemade stuff. Who knows? I get a kick out of his ideas for working on cars.

Front Axle Bracket and Bushing Question

The axle is supported by both the front and rear bosses (parts 20 and 040) therefore you can't support the axle with jack stands and remove the front boss unless you had a way to lower and lift the axle just enough to do that. And then as mentioned the FWD shaft is certainly a factor. After I...

    B7100 HST Rear Tires

Hi Wolf (@North Idaho Wolfman ) Not a tire expert here - but would it seem a good idea tubing a tire (tube type or tubeless) if you were using liquid fill to separate the liquid from the wheel. I'm curious as to experiences with liquid fill and the types used. A lot of the youtube sites push...

General Lee's been hit!!!!!!! *******Updated with new Poll**********

Maybe you've seen this already, but Messicks has this photo below. Looks like PN has changes too. Another suggestion I've used in the past is to call a parts counter and ask them to measure the thing if they had whatever part it was in stock. https://www.messicks.com/ku/85350?search=04811-00120

General Lee's been hit!!!!!!! *******Updated with new Poll**********

Hmmm, looks like the pipe from the sump eh? Removing will drain the hydro oil I'd guess, so have a couple of deep pans ready!. Might be a good time to consider making a skid plate for the next time you go "dashing through the snow"! Goodluck !! Let us know how you resolve it

    Rats ate my wires

I used Deutz connectors rebuilding my tractor. They come in many different configurations and can be purchased on Amazon for example. Excellent and waterproof. Just use care in the assembly. Maybe you can just replace the connectors. And for a bit of humour

    Fuel Knock

Could the knock be related to a lift or injection pump gone bad? Maybe a seal leaking fuel into the engine?

    Taking out a little wear

Dan- Thanking you publicly for all your help with my ole machine! You are the wizard! My L35 has been involved in about a 3 year restoration (with use in between) and is now in the final stages - being the bucket and related hardware. You can see my various postings as I shared here on OTT...

    Hydraulic rear remote problem

    Hydraulic rear remote problem

Awesome! Thank you, Dan! I note these are undrilled. Not being an expert, is there a formula or something that a person would use to determine what the drilled hole size should be? Or Do you start with "x" size and then try and repeat?

    Hydraulic rear remote problem

Thank you @Russell King . That's a lot of really good information! Here are some restrictors I found for me (-8) if anyone else is interested. It seems they have a pretty good selection. https://parts.hydraulicworld.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=515
