I've spent hours in the saddle of my L35 and plan another large project in the Spring. Finally decided to give
my butt and back some comfort and bought this seat It was on Ebay and I thought the price was reasonable.

There two types: Arm and Armless. I decided to go for the Arms version.
Anyway, pretty thick and soft and adds about 3 inches to overall seat height. It attaches effortlessly with included mount and the OEM springs actually feel like they work!

If interested I've included a link.
I'm not affiliated with them - I just found a nice product and thought I'd pass it along.

The arms fold out of the way.
This particular seat also will raise you up higher than the OEM seat.

I thought it would be great but I'm 5'9" and it turns out i didn't like that.

I'd say 3-4 inches.
Although it's a very comfortable seat, my feet felt too far away from the pedals to be comfortable.
That's a bummer too because it's a great replacement.
'guess I'll turn it into a shop chair!

I'm glad you found something.

If you don't mind, kindly advise which seat you got.

That looks great. It looks ideal - and if it doesn't substantially raise the operator - perfect.
