    Fuel prices

All the talk about pumping oil and its impact on fuel prices - how much else is impacted? https://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2019/11/f68/Products%20Made%20From%20Oil%20and%20Natural%20Gas%20Infographic.pdf Over 6000 products are made from crude oil.

Zelensky called out Coca-Cola for continuing to do business in Russia. Has that changed? Apparently Pepsi also is still there. Along with quite a few others.

I've heard reports that Russia is using thermobaric bombs. Unconfirmed, but heard that they have admitted to doing so. Bombed a children's hospital today, looks like. Just keeps getting worse.

    Vaccination opinions wanted...

I don't quite understand this hypothesis. I haven't heard of untrained people administering these shots, so this would assume that people trained to do so, who have been giving vaccine injections for who knows how long, suddenly forgot how? I don't see how that works.

    What will it take?

I find a significant lack of perspective and disconnection from reality pervades the US. Perhaps other countries as well. The proverbial "first world problems" have blinded us to how harsh life can be without all the luxuries we take for granted. A smack in the face by a tree trunk of reality...

    Vaccination opinions wanted...

Not attempting to "justify" anything here, rather just sharing my reasoning. I have seen six studies (3 via NIH, one BMJ, one NEJM - can't remember the other) that have found a significantly increased risk of adverse reaction to the vaccine for those who have previously had covid. Given that I...

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

I used to have a V-Star 650. Gave it up when I bought the mile long dirt road. Six years of improvements later, decided it was time again and upgraded to a V-Star 950 As you can see, the cat likes to pretend to ride...

    Major road work!

Private road, no specific requirements that I know of. May not be easy to see in the pics - replaced the original 18" with a 48". I think we'll be ok :)

    Major road work!

There isn't any on my road anywhere, so I would guess it's not a major issue. I don't know what your frost line is (since you mention spring thaw) but I don't think it's relevant in this case: they went all the way down below the current river bed and rebuilt it from there. Not sure where the...
