Picture of your tractor on your trailer

if you don't mind me asking, why the "hinged" ramps instead of hidden. I'm looking at trailers for my 3901 and dually rig currently. Had the "hinged" previously and didn't like the banging around of them . Do make backing up a breeze though

Regen problem L 3901 anyone ever have this?

Im more concerned for my HPCR Cummins and Kubota Diesels where Bio's can hurt injectors. Clean fuel is the key to smooth HPCR's. Anybody have any experience with the Cat fuel filter add on for Diesels on Kubotas ? filtration fears is about the only thing that keeps me up at night....( yes I have...

    seized brakes B6000

Transmission repair shops have a "hot tank" cleaner too. maybe worth a try to ask them if they could toss it in the tank next trans they got going on. I've found when I could not free a rusted part that heat and time are your friends ....heat/ soak/ repeat until free. I uually soak the entire...

    Hydraulic capacity with FE loader

the shop mentioned that it was VERY low in the fronts so they felt there MAY be a leak...if so it was better for the 80/90. I don't know the machine at all so maybe it wasn't the wrong choice. I can change it out later as I get acclimated with the service schedules and wants

    Hydraulic capacity with FE loader

funny, I asked specifically about the Fronts and they were very adamant about the gear oil. I over paid and left almost happy. I chalked it up to my own ignorance. My responsibility to know better....and I will. Nobody ever said education came cheap.

    Hydraulic capacity with FE loader

I just had a fluids change at my local and they charged me for 5 gallons SUDT so I asked ? " my manual says 7.6 gallons ? " you only charged for 5 why come? they said there may be residual fluids in lines ect. 7.6 is fully drained from factory. does any one else have supporting info. My first...

    DPF Question

Haven't been through a Regen yet, to compare to a "normal" DPF smell...I don't mind my Cummins sooting up e'ry thing....Rollin coal is Fine by me. And JET-A...Prounouced "je-TAY" as in French was a term of endearment :)

    DPF Question

so a Quick update and a follow up question. First of All she is finally home. Kubota and shop took care of the DPF work under warranty. ( thank God- looks like it was just a bake off of DPF) a bunch of sensors were replaced and some were "realigned" in the brake so its not so sensitive to...

Buying aL3560 grand cab or L4060 grand cab

Simple math...you have a cab with heat....and you have a "fall/winter" season that only gives you maybe 9hrs of "daylight" ...if you plan to work in the winter, good lighting is pretty much a must. Plus have you ever heard someone say "darn...I wish I had less lighting on my..." whatever... ...

    Gas powered log splitter

Make sure you have an adequate "work table-Table grate" its a must or you pick stuff up off the ground all day long. I won't run my TW6 without it. Negates almost all the efficiencies of the design. Also see if you can design the 4way to go "Flush" with I beam. there are plenty of times I get...

    DPF Question

they come up on any "search" for DPF Delete. I actually emailed them and they were not willing to work "over seas" . PRetty sure you have to bring the machine to them. Which would be an issue here in the States. I can only imagine what the Federales would do to that type of organization.

    DPF Question

maybe you should drive my 5.9 cummins and then jump in a 6.7 and pay for fuel ? I get 15 mpg towing a trailer and a L3901...bet you aint doing that in a 6.7. you'd be happy with the 15 empty and 9/10 loaded. Maybe we should invite an independent OTR long Hauler for his opinion when it cuts his...
