    Bx expanded skid plate

Thanks for the reply’s, I figured it would work with the backhoe on but wasn’t 100% sure, and was watching videos of installing the skid plate, it seems like the mower height adj arms need to drop down and it looked like the 3ph and those arms could cause this movement to not occur.

    Bx expanded skid plate

A couple of quick questions, 1) does the backhoe have to be removed to install the skid plate? 2) can the backhoe be used with the skid plate installed? I am thinking that it can be used while installed but do not know for sure

Snowblower Help - Eating Shear Bolts

Good Luck, I have had to disassemble my snowblower a couple of times already, replaced the impeller twice, doesn’t take much to make it go Caty wumpus, between a long gravel driveway, living in a wooded area off a dirt road, with two dogs who leave chunks of firewood everywhere and lots of...

    Impressed with the BX capabilities!

My bx23s has done all that I have asked of it and more, just have to plan out the attack on the task well, are there times I wish it could lift more-yes, are there times I wish it had higher ground clearance - yes, etc… , but for 90% of the time it does what I ask of it and more. When I was...

    Make shift land plane

Looks good, I drag an old gate off of my trailer it’s expanded metal and I just tie it off the back of the tractor takes several passes but it does a pretty good job of smoothing down the driveway, my driveway is around 300 yards long with a slight grade to it

    RPM drop

Was able to do this today, seems to have worked, I was figuring it had to do something with the cable adjustment, but the friction adjustment was an even simpler solution, thanks

    RPM drop

Hello All, I’ve got another quick question for the forum, I have a bx23s and lately the rpm’s have been slowly dropping off while running. I warm up the machine till it registers on the white temp gauge, then when I throttle up to run, 3200 rpm’s or so it runs at that rpm’s but slowly drops...

BX2816 snowblower fan / impeller connection

Yep, I had to slightly bend the metal on the housing where it hit, I’ve run snowblowers for 50 plus years and never had this happen before, that shear pin should’ve prevented it, I am regretting going with the 2816 instead of the heavier duty model, I’m thinking that this 2816 is more of a...

BX2816 snowblower fan / impeller connection

I had the same thing happen to mine, I hit a piece of firewood that one of my dogs had been playing with and it got buried under a snowfall, anyways the shear pin went but not before one of the fan blades bent, I was able to bend it back and ran it till I got another fan unit, am going to do a...

No start bx23s and oil leak

So just an update, our temps finally climbed up into the 30* range and I went out to the garage to try and start my tractor up, it would turn but not fire, fuel pump sounded like it was pumping fine, fuel filter had fuel in it, rapped on the fuel pump a couple of times, then loosened up gas cap...

No start bx23s and oil leak

Okay, I pulled the secondary fuel filter (one closest to engine) back off and placed a pan under it, then turned key to activate pump, it sounded like it was pumping but diesel was just trickling out the end of the filter, so I added some biocide to the tank, will retry to start today. I...

It appears to feel, look and smell like motor oil, yes it’s the same oil filter on right side fuel filter on left, fresh tank of winter, previous tank was summer/winter mix, old filters were dark, no noticeable crud, pump is clicking, as far as same sound that I do not know, my hearing ain’t...

No start bx23s and oil leak

Hello All, I am in need of some guidance on where to look or what could be wrong, I have a 2019 bx23s bought new in Nov of 2019 with 197 hrs on it, I use the white diesel additive in my diesel during the cold months. A week or so ago, I started it up to let it warm up to move some snow...

    Winter Lighting for Plowing

I have a flashing yellow strobe with a strong magnetic mount on the bottom , it plugs into the 12 volt socket and has an inline switch, I don’t remember where I got it from though, I think it was about 50.00 or so, it’s meant for going on the top of a vehicle for construction work
