Hello All,
I’ve got another quick question for the forum, I have a bx23s and lately the rpm’s have been slowly dropping off while running.
I warm up the machine till it registers on the white temp gauge, then when I throttle up to run, 3200 rpm’s or so it runs at that rpm’s but slowly drops off, I can manually throttle back up to rpm’s no problem and if I hold the throttle it stays there.
Everything sounds normal to me. I’m thinking that maybe I need a new throttle cable or return spring but am not sure.
Any thoughts or suggestions on what to look for?
Thanks

BTDT..
remove screen covering battery area...
you'll see the 'friction nuts' that keep tension on the throttle lever mechanism... tighten it up a snug or two....

Was able to do this today, seems to have worked, I was figuring it had to do something with the cable adjustment, but the friction adjustment was an even simpler solution, thanks
