Old B 9200 putting in food plots

I also have a B9200, I'm at least the third owner. Hour meter is at 989 hrs so I'm sure it's been over at least once. Mine is hydro, but in 2020 it came to a stop while brush hogging. Thought it was in the trans. After investigation I was sure it was the clutch. When I split it I found the...

    B9200 Prop Shaft

As far as I remember there should be grease in the joint, I didn't over pack it for fear of it blowing out the gasket. I had the same issue with assembling it in the 'tunnel'. Figured I'd give it try before having to remove the bell housing from the transmission, took me about an hour of...

    Zero Turn Mowers

Thanks for all the replies. The Kubota F series looks like a serious mower, but I'm not sure I want to spend that much at this point. When I stop by the dealer I may change my mind. The Kubota dealer is only about 10min away, that's one of the reasons I'm leaning towards a Kubota. I wouldn't...

    Zero Turn Mowers

Looking for some advice on zero turn mowers. I have about 2 of seven acres that I keep mowed in the summer. I have been doing it with a Ferris commercial mower. It's a lot of walking but I don't mind it in the cooler months, it gets brutal when it gets to be July and August. Since I'm pushing 70...

Clutch Spline Wear on B9200 HST

Thanks for all the replies. Lil Foot: the shaft is still available, at $150, easier than trying to repair the old one. Dave: attached pics of the disk. Thanks for the clutch article. I did find some very small remnants of a pilot bearing. There was no evidence that this tractor has ever been...

Clutch Spline Wear on B9200 HST

Wondering if anyone has seen this before and can give me some idea as to what would cause it. I have a B9200 HST. Purchased used about 10 years ago. I'm at least the third owner. I don't really know how many hours on it since the meter has only three digits. I split the tractor to replace drive...

New to me B2710 tractor 4wd to 2wd question

I have a B2710 that I purchased last fall. There is no indicator that you're in 4Wd or 2WD. The lever only moves a couple of inches. It should slide in or out of 4WD easily as long as there is no strain on the gear train. If it doesn't move easily try going forward or reverse a bit until the...

transmission oil change on a b2710

Sorry I didn't get these to you yesterday, just got busy and slipped my mind. I could not get a pic of the front case drain because the loader frame is in the way. The strainer pic is looking down from the RH side of the seat. It's easier to get at the strainer if you remove the RH tire. Hope...

transmission oil change on a b2710

Indianasteve, If you are looking at the the operators manual it shows two plugs at the rear lower transmission case, one plug at the mid PTO and one plug at the front go the trans case. Hope that helps. I'll get out to the barn tomorrow and try to take some actual photos.

    B9200 Prop Shaft

Thanks, after I read your reply looked at the diagram again, then went out to the tractor and cleaned 30 see odd years of crud off the end of the coupling. I was able to get the snap ring off and extract the shaft from the bell housing. This was I great help. I was try to avoid separating the...

    B9200 Prop Shaft

Need some advice on B9200 HST. Need to replace the coupling on the propshaft. I split the tractor at the bell housing, got the clutch release bearing off. From the parts diagram attached I was able to remove the roll pin, Item 100, that attaches the coupling to the transmission input shaft. The...
