Correct- the pins do not have to be symmetrically placed. There are variations that may not enable that, and symmetry does not affect performance. As long as your implement is in the position that you want, pin the stabilizers and go for it.

You need to test the battery. What it shows with no load isn't the whole story. If the battery is bad and drops too much when starting, the voltage isn't high enough for the electronics to function. That would be the first place I would look.

It should be easy to find a friend or family member who are more familiar with tractors and who can help you explore and learn. You would make more ground with in person help.

The question would be is how long can they function at such higher capacities, without significant wear and tear? There may be a cost for such ambitious capabilities.

Welcome to the forum! Before proceeding, I would double check all of the assorted parts in the engine bay. It looks like the air filter housing is moving excessively, for instance. Any loose parts can contribute noise, so I would eliminate that before isolating the engine as the source.
