Broken casting on BH 77 excavator

Welcome to the forum! You were doing loader work over rough ground, by your description, for about 8 hours. With the pin in place, there would be a significant amount of leverage on that pin and the casting. From the looks of it, it's not a casting defect, but a failure due to overload. As...

    Are my expectations too high?

Hey, Chris. I'm across the mountain from you, in Augusta County. If you haven't already, check with Beverage Tractor in Stuarts Draft or Green Hill Equipment in Staunton.

Shaver HD10 post driver hooking up onto a L3130

We have an HD 10 that we use on our Deere 5065E. We use the supply port on the remote. We use the fill point on the rear axle for the dump/return. It has enough force when evacuating the oil that we bungy the hose in place. Dad runs the tractor and activates the remote, and I run the driver.

    “Borrowing” the neighbor’s equipment… the Liability…

Murphy's Law hasn't been overturned. These are great reasons why I don't lend (I also don't borrow). A failure of the equipment at the hand of someone else puts them in a tough position. I'll either help them myself, or if their idea isn't the right solution, I'll offer advice on the better way...

    3 point trouble

I had a brain fart and used the wrong term- is an unloader valve. It will most likely be inside the case, near the 3 point control.

    3 point trouble

Sitting that long, the unloader valve could be corroded and stuck. If it is, it allows the hydraulic oil to bypass.

New Owner with an Oil Drip

Welcome to the forum! Did you buy it new or used? Any warranty on it? Most likely, it's a filter or filter gasket issue. You could simply get a new filter, remove the old one, make sure the surface is clean and the old gasket doesn't stay on, and install the new filter. Or, let the dealer figure...

    Polish/Wax

There are plastic cleaners, which can cut the oxidation. To protect, I use a generic ceramic polish, which works on both plastic and paint/metal. My stuff looks fantastic- I have a 99 Honda ATV and a 2000 tractor that gets comments.

    Kommander Z125S Won't Do Anything

Great! It's pretty common for a person to start a thread, and not follow through with the end results. There is bound to be someone who can benefit from your experience. Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Were the old sensors completely bad? Can you put one back in, and see what happens? Narrow down which one is the issue?

    Is it just me?

Everything continues to climb. Property tax assessments just came out in my county- the average tax increase is 50.9% from last year. A property that my father owns went up 60%.

How many hours on a typical Kubota diesel before rebuild or replace

I have a Bobcat skid steer, with a semi-functioning hour meter. It reads a little over 5,000 hours, and I'm sure it has more than that. The Kubota engine in it is rock solid, uses no oil, and gives no reason to be worried.

aftermarket 3 point hitch set up issues with b7000

This angle, indicated in yellow, is all wrong. I do believe that you have assembled the 3 point as the designers intended, but for your model tractor, the configuration is not copacetic. The stabilizers need to not be parallel with the lift arms, and their mounting point must be further apart...

aftermarket 3 point hitch set up issues with b7000

That's a generic hitch set, so it isn't a perfect fit for your tractor. As Wolfman suggested, move the stabilizers inside the lift arms. You may need to tweak things a little, but that should allow the stabilizers to function better. As installed, they are too parallel to the lift arms to do the...

    3-point hitch basics

I build a lot of stabilizers to replaced factory ones that have been damaged from using them while adjusted too tightly. It is a common belief that the stabilizers need to be tight, but that's not true. The goal is to control the implement, not immobilize it. If you don't believe me, go to ANY...
