    The type of tires aren't a dead ringer- someone could have easily changed them during the life of the tractor. According to a grey market tractor list posted on mytractorforum.com, the B6000 can be both a grey market and a USA model.

    How long have you owned the tractor? Is this a new noise, or are you just getting used to it? A knock is normal for a diesel at startup, and is more pronounced the colder it is. That being said, an unnatural (for a diesel) knock can happen if something is wrong. So, it could be normal, or not...

    B8200 black smoke and no power. Ideas?

    It could also be rolling black smoke because the engine is under heavy load. Given the hydraulic issues you are having, perhaps there is a heavy hydraulic load, taxing the engine. I would look for your hydraulic issue, solve that, and then address the engine, if it is still running black.
