It doesn't look like anyone has "leaked" the L2502 service manual yet.

The key switch needs to be "on" to supply power to the work light. It is easy to overlook this and spend valuable time searching for a "problem" that isn't there!

On any modern Kubota the seat switch is the most likely place for a failure because of the constant movement of the seat during operation.

It is in front of the transmission. No need to go into transmission but it is a bit of a tough job because of the room to work in there!

Actually I think you are right! The fuel returns to the top but the outlet is on the bottom according to the parts diagram! I was going by the diagram I posted from the WSM which is a little misleading.

No keyway or spline but the flywheel bolts are staggered so the flywheel can only go on in one position.

Because the fuel lines enter the tank near the top the fuel would have to initially be drawn in by the pump but once the lines are full it would likely flow freely to the separator if the fuel level in the tank is high enough

The Kubota filters are made by some company in Mexico so I'm not sure they are any better but they are Kubota approved!

It can only be done from the steering shaft end. Don't remove the 7 bolts and/or disassemble the controller! The chances of getting it back together again and operating properly are remote. You might change your mind when you see the price of the seal.

You will need a new seal and oring for the input shaft of the controller. The seal is easy to install once you have the controller removed , simple remove the snap ring and carefully pry out the old seal and replace it with new parts. There was a bulletin about it because the original oring...
