    BX2660 Front Axle Rocking Pin

Thank for the quick reply. Having a closer look again after your suggestions, I wonder if I can support the front of the tractor enough to take the bolt out without having to remove the hoses and steering cylinder, after draining the oil of course. Can you see any problems with this? The...

    BX2660 Front Axle Rocking Pin

Hello All. I am after some information on the removal of the rocking pin on the front axle of the BX2660, it is leaking some oil. Does the rocking pin go through the axle thereby letting it leak through the O-rings. How do I replace the O-rings. The WSM does not show much. Thank you. ozzie

    Kubota BX2660

Hi All. Just some information on the transmission dipstick of the BX2660. The markings on the dipstick show 5 crosses from the bottom up then 2 dimples half inch apart. The other side also has 2 dimples, but further up the dipstick. The manual is not very clear at where the oil level should be...

    Rear hydraulic winch

Thanks for all that valuable safety advice. One can never learn enough about safety around machinery. At times I work up and down a 23 degree slope clearing weeds. There are times when backing up the slope the wheels start to spin, and that is when I need assistance from a winch. The remote...

    Water Ballast in tubeless tires

Hello Again. Thanks for all the answers. More confused than ever. It seems to be a yes and no case filling tubeless tires with liquid ballast or any at all. If you look at the size of the tires, it would be expensive to put tubes in plus the labour installation cost. I think I'll let it go for a...

    Water Ballast in tubeless tires

Hello All. I would like to water ballast my Kubota L 4310 rear tires. They are Goodyear tubeless 21.5L-16.1SL tires. The temperature does not get below zero. What is your opinion on using plain rainwater as ballast in tubeless tires? What about corrosion of the rims? Thank you ozzie.:)

Kubota B1750 Steering shaft & nut

Hi. Thank for the reply. The top tooth cracked off. I do have the piece. My last resort would be to try and weld it back on if it is not cast. The small crack in the worm of the shaft could maybe be welded also as a last resort and filed back to shape. Welding these may or may not work. In the...

Kubota B1750 Steering shaft & nut

Hello from Australia. I have a Kubota B1750 with a broken tooth on the steering nut and a small crack in the steering shaft. I have not been able to get these parts so far. I was wondering whether other Kubota models or tractors makes have the same set up. Thank you in advance. ozzie

    Kubota L4310

Hello All. Good to see a positive feedback, thanks for that, all fixed now. As it is said above " At least you can now move on" to my next problem, last one, I hope. Attached I have a LA681 FEL. It works ok, but the boom operation using the boom control lever is very "jerky" or gets stuck. I...

    Kubota L4310

Thank again for all your advise. I have the problem solved, after a week of checking anything I could according to the WSM. I traced it to a harness on which some things did not work. When I turned the ignition on, the horn went. I thought there must be a cross connection somewhere, but where? I...

    Kubota L4310

By passed the wirering and it started first go. At least the starter motor is ok. The starter relay checks ok. I also tried another ignition switch from a kubota B1750. Made no difference. Any ideas would be welcome. If I bypass the safety switches, would that make a difference? Thanks, ozzie

    Kubota L4310

Thanks for the reply. The starter motor does not crank over. I will try what fj40dave suggested. If I can get the starter motor to turn over, at least I know that it is ok. ozzie :)

    Kubota L4310

Hello All. I have recently purchased a used Kubota L4310 with a FEL. The first thing I did was to give it a good clean using a high pressure water cleaner. The fuel tank had a slight leak in it so I needed to take it out for repair. It is all fixed now and reassembled, but it will not start. I...
