Silly question, but where is the High/Low level on the dipstick? Or is it measured between the two holes? What constitutes an adequate level of oil? (This is a cleaned dipstick)

    2021 L2501 Front Axle

I removed the breather plug and greased the front zerk until the breather overflowed. Then I switched to the back side front axle zerk and have used what seems to be half a tube and still no overflow from the breather. Should that one overflow also?

    PSA for new deliveries

Reading this forum got me to check my fluid level in the front axle. Sure enough it was low. While I was there figured I would check the grease in the tie-rods… there was none! Moral of the story, check all your fluids and grease fittings on new purchases!

    SUDT2 to top off axle

I've been reading the threads talking about making sure to check the front axle oil on new delivery tractors so I'm going to check mine tomorrow. I stopped by the Kubota dealer to pick up some SUDT2 to top it off. I asked the dealer what they put in there before delivery, and he said 80w-90. I...

    L2501 or L4701

Hello, new guy here. I'm looking for a new tractor, trying to decide between the 2501 or the 4701. I'd like the bigger tractor because I'd rather have it oversized vs undersized, but it's a 10k difference as well. I'm used to using a Massey Ferguson 135 and a Ford 3000 to...
