I've got a BX1800. Sometimes, my starter gets stuck; mine is probably on its way out. At any rate, I just open the hood and, as I'm turning the key, give the starter a light tap with a hammer to get it moving. Again, nothing too hard, just a tap to get it moving.

I would really like to outfit one of my current tractors with a loader. I have a BX1800 that takes an LA211 loader and an L2550 that takes a BF400G loader.

I did a similar repair on my BX1800, but, rather than that linkage, I had to replace the small hydraulic cylinder next to it. In my case, that cylinder was completely seized. After I replaced it, the pedal worked great.

I'd love to try and polish it first, and if that doesn't work then paint it. How would you recommend polishing it? I haven't ever done that.
