    B2400HSD clutch failure

Oil seal makes sense as I forgot that when we were pulling the mower deck to get ready to put on the trailer, my FIL noticed oil dripping out of clutch housing vent tube onto mower deck. Thanks for the help.

    B2400HSD clutch failure

I think you're right on this one Russell. He told me it was definitely the clutch. Possibly splitting the tractor to check rest of the driveline.

    B2400HSD clutch failure

My assumption is as Russell said in post below Clutch, pressure plate, bearings and possibly rear seal.

    B2400HSD clutch failure

The only clutch adjustment in my manual service intervals is clutch pedal free travel, and that is checked yearly when I do the fluids / filters.

    B2400HSD clutch failure

He ballparked me at $2000 when I first dropped it off, unless he runs into other issues. Now he's saying beyond that number based on parts he'll have to replace.

    B2400HSD clutch failure

Hello all. My B2400HSD recently had a complete clutch failure. I was mowing the yard and went into a turn and everything but the engine stopped. No PTO, forward or reverse, and there was a grinding noise that would only stop if I pushed the clutch in. I took it to my local dealer. They told me...

    B2400HSD clutch safety switch

Thanks again Dave. That just sounds like something too messy to put on an electrical switch. Stove pipe is one thing but a painted metal bracket and switch is totally different. I have it bypassed now. Simple one wire fix.

    B2400HSD clutch safety switch

Thanks for the reply. With it being in such close proximity to the engine/trans it gets quite hot during operation. I don't think silicone would hold up. I did use Loctite on the threads once... it didn't hold either. I did find a few videos on the procedure for bypassing the switch. Easy fix!

B3200 Won't Crank - HST safety switch not engaging

There's a grease fitting underneath the step platform on the HST pedal pivot, close to tractor, sometimes hard to see. If you have a sticky pedal, pump grease into it while rocking the pedal forward/backward. Engine off of course!

    B2400HSD clutch safety switch

Every 2-3 mowings or a long brush cutting session, my clutch safety switch falls out of it's bracket. It never fails happening when I've shut down to refuel or take a break, then I try to start and nothing. Really bad location and bracket design. Once the switch is back in, the bottom nut...

    Ok. Thanks Rusty.

    RCK60-24B gearbox spindle

Does the bearing in the spindle come out of bottom or top of deck spindle? I see a large internal snap ring above the bearing.

    RCK60-24B gearbox spindle

I have a RCK60-24B mower on my B2400. I have to replace the gearbox seals due to a leaking bottom seal and was going to do the bearings as well. Is there only one bearing in each spindle? It looks like there is room for two bearings in the spindle housing but mine has only one,

    RCK60-24B MMM

Hello. I'm trying to find the correct thread pitch, size, and length of the bolts that go through the deck bracket into each side of the gearbox. There are 4 bolts in total. I believe they are two different sizes but not for sure. Thanks
