1997 B2400 hydraulic line info needed

I may do that as well, for a back up. Tractor only has 500 hours on it, it's not going anywhere for a long time. Don't mind having some back up inventory.

1997 B2400 hydraulic line info needed

Copper. It seems the line itself is cracked. Hard to see but it seems to open up under pressure.

I tried replacing the brass washers with no luck.

I ended up finding a diagram and p/n on messick's site.

1997 B2400 hydraulic line info needed

Does anyone have a diagram with p/n's detailing hydraulic pipes/lines for this tractor? I can't seem to find anything on the web. I have a hydraulic line that runs from the rear of the tractor (under the seat, next to where the rear hydraulic control connects on "passenger side") to the front...

    Anyone getting the fever yet?

6? I thought it was more in NC. I’m in upstate NY. We get an archery either sex and antlerless. Regular season buck tag, up to 2 doe permits. Then second draw gives out left over doe permits, which I can get 2 more for one area I hunt. Then we can have 2 doe permits from another hunter...

    Leaf cleaning option help

Wait for a dryer day and leaf blow as much as you can. Then mow it. Leaf blow again. Beats raking and it’s what I just had to do as well. I paid for that extra hunting time last Fall when I neglected my leaf duties. Overall, not that bad. Something to do before striped bass opened.

Need help deciding B2650 or L 3301 series

Assuming that neither will be too much of a financial burden I’d probably go larger. It’s very rare to hear of someone complaining that they went with the bigger machine.

    CO2 in cab..

If it’s a new tractor and it seems to be abnormal have them come pick it up and fix it.

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

I have one of the plastic roofs on my b2400 and a homemade plexiglass windshield. I have a plastic enclosure but don’t bother with it. Just having a roof overhead and a windshield makes plowing much more tolerable.

Buying a used tractor with no maintenance records

Agreed, I maintain my tools and toys appropriately, and treat them very well. They’re all in good shape. I don’t keep record, because well... I don’t got time for that! Generally speaking, you can to a degree tell how a machine has been treated from speaking to the owner and inspecting it. I...

    Puter geeks

You think that’s bad you should see the new work station my employer sent me for my home office. A small dell laptop, huge dual monitors, a dock to plug everything into, a few other pieces and roughly a country mile’s worth of cables. I’m only 30 and it took me a solid hour, 3 “beverages”, and...

    Anyone a cattle farmer?

Don’t farm them but all of my beef is local, and extremely well marbled. When the bottom round london broils look like this, and the top rounds weren’t much different you know you’re in for a treat!

    Thinking Of Getting Into Welding?

You’re right on the “better be good at it part”. Another key facet is being able to do on site work and being mobile. I have a friend who is my age, just over 30 and does exceptionally well, and it’s his passion. He could weld your butt crack and not burn either cheek. Super talented and he...

Is your 20v battery better than the 18V?

My trio of batteries have lasted 3 years now but are getting to the point of no return. I find, at this point it makes more sense going completely new versus new batteries. My 18v dewalt drill is brushless, and I can’t kill the big, heavy, bulky thing but I’m no carpenter. The dewalt...

Is your 20v battery better than the 18V?

What do you find inferior with the porter cables? I had them near the top of my list. Milwaukee being the top choice, but had PC ahead of dewalt. Largely because I used my father’s while assisting in redecking a large deck this summer. Seemed more powerful, andway less bulky/lighter than my...

Is your 20v battery better than the 18V?

Last time I bought I went all dewalt, 18v. They’ve been okay the past three years, and the price was great.... but next time it will be milwaukee or porter cable for me. The 3 batteries are reaching the end of their life cycle, and I use my cordless reciprocating saw A LOT during deer season as...
