    New Land Pride Tiller Problem

Exact thing happened to mine in the first few hours. I got lucky and found the bolt and had to get a new anchor for it, but it hasn't come off again after another 20 hours or so.

How many hours between regens on your L4701

My first one was in the low 30's I think. Now I have 70+ hours and have not had another one. I have only run highway diesel and 90% of the time has been in the PTO range.

Kubota L4701 vs Mahindra 2545--which to buy

I looked at both those about a year ago when I bought mine and I am glad I went with the L4701 HST. I didn't really like it the first few days, but after 70 hours of use it is really handy. I mow a lot and can really change directions easily while in the woods without having to turn around to...

DPF operating hints: calling all owners of new tractors

Had my first one on my L4701 at 29 hours. Very little idling in that time and almost never at the lowest throttle setting. Almost all of it has been in the PTO range, mowing or tilling.

    Regeneration mode

I have the exact model you have and I just had my first one yesterday while I was cutting around an overgrown pond and it was easy as it could be. I knew it was coming soon as I had 29 hours on it so I was waiting for it. I never push the inhibit button when I start it because I always use it...

    Planting cover grasses for wildlife

I called the local ROTFL Dept and asked them where I could find a GLG20 tree and they said to call the LMFAO Tomato Co. and tell them I was looking for an EM-50 UAV and then I could order some Carl Spackler's Bent, it is a hybrid. It's a cross bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent, and...

    Planting cover grasses for wildlife

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have reached out to the local state wildlife biologist and for some ideas on creating better nesting habitat and I will definitely talk to our extension agent for soil test lime/fertilizer amounts. The beans where harvested in Nov of 2015 so I don't think the...

    Planting cover grasses for wildlife

Hey all, I have about 20 acres that I am thinking about planting to CRP or some other type cover for deer/turkey/pheasants/quail and have a few questions for those folks that have done this before. I have read a lot about the different density of the grasses and how each species likes it a...

    Tiller lesson learned

I'm pretty new to using a tiller with my tractor and thought I would pass on a quick tip. I was using it to work some lime into one of my food plots that I will plant next spring and almost learned the hard way how powerful it can be. The plot was a little out of level, may be 3' low on one...

    80% lowers

Understood, but i never will admit to anything, anywhere, ever. P.s. I turned over every scary gun i ever owned to the all knowing libtards cause i was just to scared they would go off by themselves. I feel soooo much safer now. Its sandy down here, but i feel safe cause they told me i would...

    Cultipacker Shopping

I like that Omni one also. I have never really used one and am wondering about the shape of the wheels and the difference it will make. I got to think the wheels with the "teeth" for lack of a better word, would do a better job of retaining seed and fertilizer down in the holes created by them...

    Cultipacker Shopping

I am in the market for a new implement and have been shopping around looking for a deal on cultipacker. I found these guys http://www.cultipackerforsale.com/ on line and was wondering if anyone had any experience with their stuff. Prices are pretty competitive and can make any size you want...

    game plot

Chain link with some weight on it works good , but can get hung up on roots and will cause you some cussin'. I use a piece of "Ice Bridge". Its a galvanized piece of walkway or cover that is used in the tower construction industry to protect the equipment and people at the bottom of the tower...

    Can I rototill this?

Im a little late to the party here, but I have seen guys use a couple of goats to gobble that stuff up pretty quick when there was no mower to be had. Chain them to a heavy block or old truck and make sure they have water within reach and they will do the work for you.

    game plot

I guess it all depends on how well you want to prepare your seed bed. I suppose it could be done with just those tools, but it would take a while. I would think you might want to at lease drag the herl out of it with some fence and try do bust up the clods that a plow will produce. Just being...
