Can't start, bought new 2 terminal switch

No luck yet on the starting dilemma. Some have mentioned that I should make sure the battery ground is good. Not sure if this is a particularly viable situation. I jumped my car battery to the tractor battery. Positive terminal to positive terminal and negative of jumper cable is to tractor...

Can't start, bought new 2 terminal switch

Forgot to mention some things. There was a distinct sulfur smell around the battery after 3 seconds of cranking. Wire from battery to switch, then out of switch by pushing in the button which should have carried power to solenoid wire. Battery tested 12.65 volts across terminals. Have not...

Can't start, bought new 2 terminal switch

Have not been able to start the G6200 tractor. So, I figured I'd take off the solenoid wire which connected to the starter switch and jump directly from battery to solenoid terminal. I got a simple 2 pole switch and connected the switch between the battery and the solenoid terminal. No luck...

    jump starting the G6200

I cannot find out why I can't start the tractor. I rebuilt starter, checked all wires, etc. When I touch a screwdriver to the hot pole and the little pole, the starter activates so I know the hot wire is OK from the battery. Can I jump the small terminal somewhere along the wiring sequence and...

    cannot start G6200 tractor

Last fall, I put the tractor to bed and it was running great. This spring, I could not get it started. After using the glow plugs, I turned the key to the right and the red light gets quite a bit dimmer. I can hear the fuel pump loud and clear, but the starter will not catch, even though I had...

    strange Kubota tiller

It is not a rice paddy tiller. It has the wheel on the left side of the tiller facing the tractor, and 2 steel wheels before the tine shaft housing. It's ungainly looking, to say the least. I know I've seen this machine before, perhaps a few years ago on the Internet. In person, no, never seen...

    strange Kubota tiller

First of all, the steel wheels are NOT behind the unit. They are on the front side, facing the tractor. As you look at the tiller from the tractor side, you see these steel wheels left and right and you see the (likely) depth adjusting wheel. There is NOTHING on the back except the metal flap...

    strange Kubota tiller

I saw a Kubota tiller recently that was strange. As you look at it from the PTO side, on the left side you see a steel wheel, looks like a steering wheel, and I can't imagine what that wheel would be doing on the tiller. There were 2 rather large steel wheels on the machine, one on each side...

alter front mount mower to another make tractor

I have a mower deck for a F series tractor. I want to adapt the mower deck to my Holder tractor which has a front PTO at 1000 rpm. My deck has the 10 spline collar that fits onto the Kubota drive shaft and I want to change it to the standard 6 spline, 1 3/8" shaft. Is this practically possible...

    front mount Kubota mower adaptation

Year or two ago, I bought a 5' wide Kubota mower deck that fits on the front mount mower units. It was in like new shape but I had no use for it...then. I just bought a tractor that has front PTO at 1000 rpm in addition to rear 540 rpm PTO. What rpm's do those mower decks like to run at? Can I...

    Remove G6200 front tire

I have a dry rotted front tire on my G6200 tractor. How do I remove the rim from the shaft? Appears that there is a bearing on both inner and outer sides. Do I use an impact hammer on the end of the shaft or is there some gadget that will work to remove the rim from the shaft? No other way to...

    B6200 for sale

I'm looking at a 6200 in the next few days. It's an '84, not sure of the hours, it has a solid post hole digger, a belly mower, a rear scraper blade and everything is solid, not a bit of junk there. What kind of pricing can I expect to be adequate? Is the 6200 known as a good, solid unit...

    RCK60-F30 mower deck for sale

I have a very very nice mower deck for sale. This deck was used 200 hours total. Tractor sold, deck sat around in the barn for years. Now, ready to sell and I can tell you it is in very fine shape, no exaggeration whatsoever. In southern New England. These decks fit the front mounted tractors...

    B6100 value

Got a look-see tomorrow on a B6100DT, 4 WD, standard tranny, good rubber, 2200 hours. Guy wants 3200, seemed a little pricey to me. It's in nice shape with good tin, good rubber, but only has the snow plow out front. Is 2200 hours getting long in the tooth for this? Starts good, runs good...

    New Kubota

My new-to-me G6200 with 550 hours on it is simply a superb machine. It needed a few minor tweaks. It's power, excellent handling, and marvelous foot pedal control of forward and reverse speed is terrific. The price was extremely fair, the condition was excellent, and this baby is gonna take me...

gear box oil seal mower deck

My deck is a RC 44-42. I wanna remove and replace the bottom oil seal. Or, should I just put in some Motor Medic or Motor Honey and just goo up the fluid so it doesn't leak out?
