antifreeze in oil on my l245dt

Remove the rad cap and turn the tractor on. If coolant bubbles up from the rad cap, your head gasket is “gone” and needs replacing.

    MX 4700. I’m back baby!

I spoke with the dealer this am. Neither the parts dude or sales dude couldn’t come up with a part number. I would be real surprised if a part from a different series didn’t work. It’s not exactly an elaborate piece of technology.

    MX 4700. I’m back baby!

Years ago I perused this site for help and advice related to my Kubota L1801. I ended up selling it as I moved into a 65 Massey. Sold the Massey the other day and am now the proud owner of a MX4700. Former owner bent the adjustable stabilizer arm. I would like to replace with the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Shot out of a stand at 20 yards. Missed a doe in the morning, made good on him in the evening. He died within 10 yards of a natural spring. Lots of deer traffic coming/going to that spring. Will be hunting over it this coming weekend. 1 more tag to fill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bx2200 running hot

Only do that mixture for the nicer months. We had a stretch last winter where it was greater than -30 Celsius (-22 Fahrenheit) for 35 days in a row!

    Bx2200 running hot

I had an overheating issue and managed to solve it by increasing the water to coolant mixture. Throughout the summer months I will almost 90% water (distilled) to coolant. Water sheds heat much faster.

    Radiator shot on L1500

I experienced a similar problem with a similar tractor. What did work (although only a temporary fix in my situation) was a can of Bars Leak for about $8. It closed up about 5 pin hole leaks in the rad and I was back in business.

    L185/L1801 Box Blade size

Removed the box blade safely first thing this morning. Had it hooked up 20 minutes later. I spend about 30 minutes going up and down the driveway trying out my new toy and it's amazing how much better the driveway looks already.

Thinking about Trading a MMM for a Rear Finish

If you decide to keep the mid-Mount mower it would be in your best interest to have some kind of bracing system installed. This will you lock everything up nice and tight and hopefully won't catch on things when you're using your rear mount implements.

Thinking about Trading a MMM for a Rear Finish

If you're going to take the mower on and off continuously you might as well get the mower that's the easiest to take on and off. Rear mount, no question

    3 Pt Hitch Mower Offset??

I off-set my rear mount mower. This allows me to get tight to the trees without being slapped in the face by branches. I doubt I get more than 8 to 12 inches of off-set but enough that it helps.
