    Log Splitter

Look at the Northstar spltters from Northern Tool. They are often on sale. They have easy starting Honda engines. The 37 ton splits 24 inch oak rounds without stalling. Splits vertically if needed, to save your back. Well built. Easy to tow.

Grease blade bearings and pulleys (remove belt shields to do so), gauge wheels and spindles. When installing, l set the gauge wheels and chock them to the lowest deck setting. Also use chocks on the front and back of the deck to serve as ramps. Attach front link bar to deck. Raise the rear...

    Sub Soiler Too Large

https://heavyhitch.com/product/ripper-sub-soiler-potato-plow-middle-buster/ Worth checking as stated in the earlier posts. The shank has spaced, multiple holes on the shank that allow for bolting to the tube hitch for depth adjustment.

Heavy Hitch http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/attachments/425115d1431802663-subsoiler-middle-buster-image-jpg Worked well on the BX2200 when properly ballasted. Posted on TBN, 5/15/15 under http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/243311-subsoiler-middle-buster.html

What kind of chainsaw you have?

First, be safe everybody. Wear saw chaps or bibs, saw helmet with visor, sound protection, gloves and don’t forget the sunscreen. Husqvarna 262XP 20 inch bar. A classic old saw with good power. Good for the bigger hardwoods. Had issues with it shutting down when hot. But adjusting the idle...

Best Money Spent on a Shop Item?

Dollies. Lots of dollies. Every implement or heavy item goes on one. Makes hook up easier. Saves your back. The HF and NT ones are inexpensive. Put two or more together by screwing plywood or boards to them for larger items.

    Stumped...B2650 or L3901

B2650. Get the cab version if you can. I’m continually amazed at its capabilities.

    Need an additional Smaller Bota...

My bias remains with the B2650. Amazing capabilities, it is a small tractor with a big tractor feel. That’s the best way I can explain it.
