    Intall new ignition L3000

Wolfman: Thanks for your reply. I did something that I have never before done when starting the tractor. After several attempts with all levers in neutral (no start) - I pushed the PTO lever forward of the neutral position then back into neutral. The tried to start again ....and low and...

    Intall new ignition L3000

Having the same old problem AGAIN:mad: I had posted that following the install of the new key/starter switch that it started right up. A week later starting the tractor took several key turns before she started. Today - the dern thing is acting just like it did before I replaced the "Key...

    Intall new ignition L3000

Well - finally got the new ignition switch. The Arizona Kubota supplier sent the replacement ignition switch to the wrong place and it took them 8 days to find where they sent it:mad: But at least the removal of the old ignition switch and the install of the new one was much simpler than I had...

    Intall new ignition L3000

I will be going to Kubota deal to purchase a new ignition switch. There is a chrome (likely plastic) collar on the outside of the dash holding the switch in place. The collar has 4 holes at 12,3,6 and 9. Is there a specific tool needed to remove this collar? Or how have any of you on the...

    Starter Switch Issue

At this point I have not removed the panel that contains the ignition key switch, the head lights and the safety flashers. I would have assumed that the issue is intermittent that is it is the key starters. Wouldn't the starter solenoid be either good or bad ...not intermittent?

    Starter Switch Issue

I have a Kubota L3000 purchased used (100 hours shown on the meter) appx 10 years ago. The starter ignition switch has always been an minor issue. I would turn the key to the left to warm the glow plugs then the right to start. Often it would take several turns to engage and start the engine...

    Seat Safety Switch Location

The PTO lever seems to have 3 positions - 1: Pulled back engages the PTO; 2: the mid position - PTO not engaged. There is a definite forward position, but I have never moved it to that position except to move the selector lever forward and back then to the center -mid-position to start the...

    Seat Safety Switch Location

Sometimes after turning the key to the left to "warm up" the start then turning the key to start - I get dash lights but nothing from the starter -no turnover of the engine. I then move the shift level back and forth to ensure I'm in neutral the same for the PTO shifter. If that doesn't work...

    Seat Safety Switch Location

I am having a problem with (I believe) the "Seat Safety Switch". Looking at the seat and below the seat supports, I don't see any thing that looks electronic or like a switch. Where is it location on the L3000DT and/or what does it look like?:o I appreciate the experience that monitors this...

Kubota tractor 4x4 not working ?

Your tractor should work in both 2 wheel and 4 wheel Drive. Did you check the level that should be at the rear of the floor board left side next to the seat. Pull up for 4 wheel and push down for 2 wheel. I know I had the same problem and I likely hit the lever with my foot pushing down...

Stop Knob - Linkage at Stop Lever

I'm interested in a diagram of the linkage from the Stop Knob to the "Stop Lever" that is on the lower right side of the engine. There is long rod extending from the knob under the left cowling that pulls back a lever mounted on the engine with a wide V limiting the travel of the lever - to the...
