    Renting implements & fluid contamination?

    Always a slight risk that somebody before you had some junk in their system, you hope their filters caught the worst. It is not a big concern for me but if I borrow our rent hyd implements I change hyd oil early.

    Which Cyclone Rake?

    I have the commercial pro on my 1870 and it works great. It will get a little light on the steering as it gets full but nothing I can’t deal with. It does get heavy to dump when full so I will sometimes dump early. I was always set on buying a trac vac but all the used ones always have duct tape...

    Box Blade or Scrape Blade?

    If I only had one implement it would be the box blade. I wish I would have gotten a landscape rake instead of scraper blade.

    I received a rear remote hyd kit for my bx 1870 fo Christmas.l read a lot of guys get a hyd top link but I think hyd side link would work better for me.my implements are a 54” box blade and 60” blade. I would like input from guys that have both and what they use the most .

    Chains?

    I have a 1870 with turfs ,I have no problems with snow. I bought chains and only use them in ice or snow over about 8-10". I also use the loader bucket.

    7miles up you don't want a loader you need a loader. You will realize that when you have one. I also have 1 1/2 acres and my 1870 is justified.LOL

    Leaf/Grass Vac

    I have a RCK 48 deck and use the stock blades to feed my cyclone rake. The only time I have trouble is heavy wet grass.

    BX24 and Cyclone Rake

    I also use a cyclone rake on my 1870 and don't find that my 3 point going up first is a problem usually when I raise my deck i am done mowing so I just put the deck in top position and lower 3 point back to normal position.

    Thanks for the input . I have three products to choose from , the hardest decision is cans or bottles for the adult beverages.

    My bx is 2 years old now the underside of the mower deck is pretty much bare metal. What do other guys do to protect their decks from rotting out over time? I pull the deck and clean the underside at least 3 times a season.

    Bx2370 3 point bleeds off while running

    I just got my BX1870 back from the dealer at 170 hrs I had a drop rate of 4.5 minutes for full travel of the arms with 30 # on. There was no question about warranty on that . seal was tore and cyl was scored . For your hours check with dealer I am unsure about acceptable drop.

    Just pulled the trigger on a BX1870-1
