Got it on the lift and started lifting it and noticed that the far (non-powered) side safety latch wasn't working. Apparently, I have a problem with the lift I need to fix first.
Atlas knows all about the problem.
With the basic tractor plus liquid ballast plus wheel weights, I'm at 4701 lbs for the tractor. Add the 1157 lbs for the LA853 FEL, that goes to 5860.
I have one tool like the Turf kit shown above for my Kubota diesel ZTR; I'm not sure I'd trust it for one end of the tractor.
I need to work on my tractor and I've never put it on the 2-post lift before. It is a Kubota L4330, ~40 hp with 4wd. The Front End Loader (FEL) will be on but no implement (bucket, grapple etc.). The rear tires are filled ~750 lbs of liquid ballast and there are two lead, steel concrete wheel...
Yep. The wires on my Fill-rite 120 vac pump were well tucked in the junction box when I received it.
Got a reply from Fill-rite (paraphrasing): "Overspray. Remove the junction box and the black wire should be obvious - like the instructions say to do [dumbass]."
The DA was obviously not...
After writing this out, I think you're exactly right. Note that the first instruction is to remove the junction box to get to the wires. These wires were both exposed and out when I unboxed the pump.
I'll take off the box tomorrow and confirm.
Thanks!
Let's see if you can spot the problem with the directions on this Fill-rite 1204H 12vdc wiring instructions:
Is that little bit of "black" supposed to be the black wire as shown in the diagram?
Here is what the Fill-rite Owner's Manual says about wiring for the 12vdc model (emphasis...

I put the same golf cart roof on both my L4330 tractor and my ZD326 zero turn.
$50 each off of CL.
Not Baileys. I bought a three spool valve from them. E-mailed them a question: Never heard back.
It leaked like a sieve. Since the original installation was forked up, I wrote the leaks off to that. Replaced it with another Bailey 3 spool. It leaks like a sieve as well.

I agree: I don't see how there isn't some sort of class action due to the throttle issue. I don't see how - at least several - people were not injured by it's out of control jerkiness. Especially in reverse.
When my warranty is almost over, I'm going to get rid of my XG850 and replace it with... something, I don't know what yet, but it won't be a Kubota. Whoever designed the throttle for the XG should be fired, hung, shot then burned alive.
I built a fuel trailer with a nominal 105 gallon diesel tank (nominal!) and a 50 gallon gas tank on a TSC trailer:
Biggest mistake: Installing a 125 vac Filrite pump on the diesel tank instead of a 12 vdc pump.
